This project aims to enable the sustainable management of common scab disease, development of current commercial cultivars exhibiting disease durability, creating effective disease control strategies and assist in the facilitation of the export tubers by reducing or eliminating contamination. The project has successfully developed and optimised a system for selection of potatoes from a range of cultivar with tolerance to the scab toxin.
