Short Summary
A group representing Natural and Fresh Tasmanian Produce (NAF-TAS) visited Japan in September/October 1993 to research markets, production techniques, cultivars and to establish relationships with potential Japanese buyers. Then trials were conducted during 1993/94 at the Forthside Vegetable Research Station and other locations in Tasmania with a range of vegetable crops to test the suitability of various cultivars for fresh export and processing.
