Applied Horticultural Research has developed a training course as part of the VegPRO project designed to ensure that the fresh vegetables grown in Australia are guaranteed to be safe from possible contaminants found on the farms or in the packing sheds. VegPRO is a strategic levy investment in the Hort Innovation Vegetable Fund.

This is a vital resource for all growers of fresh vegetables. These informative videos inform, or remind, the pickers and packers of their responsibility in ensuring the fresh produce they are dealing with is clean and safe to eat.

At the end of each of the four modules is a set of questions to check that the employee has understood the important safety messages in the videos.
