Regular oversupply of vegetables on the domestic market has created much interest within the industry and service providers to assess the opportunity to export particularly into key Asian markets including Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan. This study tour provided a first hand knowledge of the varietal characteristics required in these potential export markets.
