The aim of the study was to identify potential areas for investment in horticultural industry development, for input into the AusHort strategic planning process. The key outcomes of this consultancy are: detail of priority investment areas for horticultural industry development and recommendations for initial investment by Horticulture Australia and the AusHort R&D Committee. For the purpose of the study, industry development was considered to encompass a broad range of activities leading to improved economic, environmental and social outcomes for the industry.
