This report investigated ascovirus as a means of controlling diamondback moth (DBM) and cabbage cluster caterpillar (CCC). Studies were undertaken investigate the interaction between DBM and CCC and the ascovirus and the DBM parasitoid wasp, showing that CC and DBM larvae are readily infected by the ascovirus and killed by the disease at either the larval or pupal stage.
