The latest project update from VG16060 Vegetable Agrichemical Pest Management Needs and Priorities is available for industry.
The report includes an update on the following:
- Industry consultation: During this quarter, the Project Coordinator has continued industry consultation and engagement with growers and agronomists.
- AgChem Forum: The Project Coordinator has generated a pest priority list, resulting in the development of a gap list that identifies the top five pest and agrichemical priority needs for each commodity, vegetable gap list has been used at the 2019 Agchem collaborative forum.
- 2019 Crop Specific Pest Survey: Developed by AUSVEG and Hort Innovation to capture the vegetable industry’s main pests, disease and weed issues.
