This report investigated the efficacy of various formulations of potassium silicate for management of disease and improving yields in vegetable crops. Results from the study indicated that potassium silicate can be of benefit both directly and through its fungicidal/bacterial action, and indirectly through is ability to elicit beneficial physiological responses in plants.
