This project delivers a functional framework to ensure the communication function and the delivery of research and development (R&D) outcomes were converyed to Australian potato growers. Various methods of communicating outcomes and providing details were implemented including: an annual publication Potatoes Australia, a password protected website for growers and industry, Managing media relations regarding media traffic regarding the International Year of the Potato as well as liasing with research, government agencies, industry and growers via face to face, electronic or priint communications.
