This project was undertaken to address one of the key issues facing the future of the vegetable industry - a general negative perception of the career opportunities - by showcasing innovations in technology; environmental management; soil, water and pest management; farm practices; supply chain functions such as packaging and retailing; and benefits associated with working in the industry including travel, opportunities to upskill and lifestyle factors.

The project outputs showcase successful people in the vegetable supply chain through the production of 17 filmed case studies representing key veegtable growing regions across Australia, and a variety of supply chain roles. The success of this project is in making viewers of the interviews think differently about the Australian vegetable industry, and realise there are diverse opportunities associated with working in the industry.
