The research paper examines the effects of pesticides on beneficial pests and mites in order to maximise preservation in crops. Findings suggest that modern selective pesticides are useful in IPM programs being less harmful then broad spectrum insecticides. The paper however recommends that new pesticide registrations should include testing on beneficial species to enhance compatibility with IPM Programs
