This project was undertaken to consolidate the current knowledge of best-practice management of pollination under Australian conditions; provide a basis for programs to raise awareness of the importance of pollination to optimal productivity in responsive commodities, offer a foundation for determining priorities for research to improve knowledge and management of pollination; and provide a basis for investing in programs to manage the risks posed by varroa and other exotic honey bee pests and diseases.
