The study was initiated with the objective of combining Clubroot resistance genes from a variety of sources to improve the resistance of Brassica vegetables to this disease. This report summarises the outcomes of this investigation particularly on the discovery of genes responsible for the resistance/tolerance of Brassica Vegetables to Clubroot. This study was able to provide new insights; however further research is necessary to clarify the nature of resistance due to the small number of varieties used.
