This project was undertaken to improve the management of target spot of potato and refine potato pest management activities in Australia.The main goals included: validation of Wisdom potato crop management software under Australian conditions; development of disease susceptibility profiles of potato cultivars commonly grown in Australia and promising breeding lines under field conditions; and observation of crop production practices in key potato and vegetable production areas of Australia and present seminars to grower groups and research staff on production practices in the US.
