This project was completed on the Atherton Tableland which was designed to find out if additional fertilisers were needed to increase the yield of potatoes and subsequent rotational crops. By using large plot on-farm trials, it was planned to increase the relevance of trial results to growers and thereby increase understanding of fertiliser practices in crop farming in this district.
