Short Summary
This project investigated alternative chemical control options for thrips in Queensland and Tasmania. This project also looked at the nature or 'wind scorch' under Tasmanian growing conditions and the role that thrips play in this disorder: do they exacerbate the symptoms, cause the symptoms, or is the wind the sole contributor to this disorder.

Different application methods were also investigated such as ground application at planting and foliar application at flower bud formation.
