The project identifies a range of new herbicides suitable for lettuce production in Australia with evaluation of three new herbicides in terms of crop safety and weed efficacy. A total of 14 trials over three seasons were conducted in significant lettuce growing regions in South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania, Western Australia and Queensland to screen new herbicides for Australian Lettuce Growers.
