Crop protection products and associated adjuvants can leave sticky oily residues on all internal surfaces or spray equipment. Small amounts of fungicide or insecticide residue can activate some herbicides causing greater levels of crop damage than would be expected. They should be cleaned using appropriate pesticides. All pesticide labels list the correct agent to use to effectively remove residues of that active from internal sprayer parts. Always protective clothing should be worn when cleaning spray equipment, as recommended on the product label.
