This 2-year long project aimed to estimate critical ranges for petiole nitrate-nitrogen in potato crops to enable growers assess the nitrogen status of the processing potato crops. It also aimed to predict the potato yield and processing quality effects of nitrogen (N) and potassium (K) fertilisers applied in response to petiole nutrient levels during the early stages of crop growth.
