This project was undertaken to maximise grower participation in the Australian Vegetable Industry Development Plan and to ensure that the outcomes and project reflect regional, state and national needs. In addition, it also intended to provide the Vegetable Industry Development Officer and Research and Development Committee Members with sufficient information to assist them to develop R&D projects that will enhance the vegetable growing industry in South Australia and provide a better understanding of the structure under which the national vegetable industry functions.

This project has been funded by Hort Innovation, using the research and development levies listed below and contributions from the Australian Government. Hort Innovation is the grower-owned, not-for-profit research and development corporation for Australian horticulture.
