Following the dissolution of the former national Industry Development Officer (IDO) service, state peak bodies were engaged to provide services under the new Vegetable Industry Development Program (VIDP) as a Collaborative Industry Association. In Western Australia, this enabled vegetablesWA to continue providing a communication and extension service to growers which combined many features of the former IDO role with the organisational capacity of vegetablesWA to drive development of the industry. This final report will further detail the methodology, results and conclusions of this project.
