16 January 2004This project allowed for the identification of the major and minor pests of celery, with the development of specific control measures including identification of biological agents, cultural techniques and selective or strategic chemical use. This report contains a guide to the species of greatest interest in celery an methods to monitor the pests. Identification of these insects is possible using some of the currently available guides to insects in other horticultural and broad acre crops.
