Description
This project studies the epidemiology of the main 2 fungi associated in brassica stem canker and evaluating management strategies to reduce the economic loss of the disease. Some cauliflower varieties have been identified as being less susceptible to rhizoctonia infection and trials are underway to determine varieties less susceptible to black leg. Trials undertaken screened fungicides applied as preplanting drenches for their efficacy in managing diseases.
