This project was undertaken to address one of the key issues facing the future of the vegetable industry – a general negative perception of the career opportunities – by showcasing innovations in technology; environmental management; soil, water and pest management; farm practices; supply chain functions such as packaging and retailing; and benefits associated with working in the industry including travel, opportunities to upskill and lifestyle factors.

This project has been funded by Hort Innovation, using the research and development levies listed below and contributions from the Australian Government. Hort Innovation is the grower-owned, not-for-profit research and development corporation for Australian horticulture.
