This project is looking at pre-harvest water and untreated animal manure withholding periods in relation to minimising or eliminating the risk of microbial contamination of high-risk vegetable crops. It will help growers use untreated manures and pre-harvest water confidently, with proven exclusion periods, without compromising the safety of their products.
