Description
This study undertook a feasibility study into changing the processing of sweet corn in the NSW Industry. The study involved a tour by two grower representatives and two processor representatives travelling to the US to evaluate the two systems for on-farm de-kernelling, both of which were determined inappropriate for the Australian conditions. The study recommended that Australian growers remain with factory-based de-kernelling operations
