This project is is all about the application of automation, robotics, vision systems and sensing technologies (specifically hyperspectral imaging and wireless sensor networks) in the vegetable industry. It has a particular focus on rapid yield assessment and earlier problem detection, to increase on-farm productivity and manage risks.

This project has been funded by Hort Innovation, using the research and development levies listed below and contributions from the Australian Government. Hort Innovation is the grower-owned, not-for-profit research and development corporation for Australian horticulture.
