Produce Fresh Summit is one of the largest international events solely dedicated to fruit, vegetables and floral, drawing more than 17,000 attendees from 50 countries annually. This study tour was undertaken to understand the scope and scale of the US market, knowledge transfer to younger people in the organisation, re-connect with contacts and colleagues and make new associations, identify consumer and retail trends that have transferability to the Australian marketplace, and identify market opportunities for the company’s products in North Amercia.
