Will robots change the way Aussie farmers have been working for generations? On Tuesday 2 February 2018, ABC Catalyst explored the future of agriculture with scientists at the Australian Centre for Field Robotics.

This included showcasing the vegetable levy-funded Robot for Intelligent Perception and Precision Application (RIPPA) that is currently under development at the Horticulture Innovation Centre for Robotics and Intelligent Systems (HICRIS), hosted by the University of Sydney and Hort Innovation.

Further details are available on the ABC Catalyst website. More information on RIPPA can be found on the HICRIS website, or you can read more about the HICRIS initiative on the Hort Innovation website.
