The EnviroVeg Program was an environmental best management practice program, and had existed in evolving forms since 2000. It involved a range of resources and services so that Australian vegetable growers could benchmark and improve their practices and showcase their environmental credentials through certification.

This iteration of the project included the EnviroVeg Pilot Program, a funded pathway through EnviroVeg to reach Freshcare Environmental certification and attain the best practice benefits of environmentally responsible, sustainable vegetable production.

This project has been funded by Hort Innovation, using the research and development levies listed below and contributions from the Australian Government. Hort Innovation is the grower-owned, not-for-profit research and development corporation for Australian horticulture.
