This study seeks to devise techniques to control cadmium accumulation in Potato tubers. It investigates; an extension program to increase awareness, develop predictive tests to determine high risk soils and environments, strategies to overcome problems of high cadmium levels along with the residual value of fertilizer cadmium in solids and the long term availability of cadmium in soils.
