Short Summary
This presentation reports on some of the findings of project VG07127. Broccoli and cabbage cultivars were tested for resistance to white blister rust and trials using alternative chemicals were conducted on Brassica rapa cultivars. Bion, a chemical inducer of systemic acquired resistance (SAR) was shown to be as effective as Amistar (azoxystobin) for controlling white blister rust on seedlings of Brassica rapa in a glasshouse experiment.
