Attachment
Thie project involved collaboration of research institutes and growers in order to investigate the effects of composted organic material for brassica vegetable production with a range of objectives developed over the course of the study, including a review of invertebrate predators, monitoring of insecticide resistance in populations of diamondback moth, identification of macro-invertebrates involved in the decomposition of harvested brassica residue and a quantitative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test for the brassica disease white blister. The project developed the Brassica ICM CD as a multimedia toolkit containing information relevant to anyone involved in Brassica vegetable production in Australia.
