This project was conducted to devise a method for Potato Leafroll Virus (PLRV) to avoid the need for virus transfer and be senstive enough to detect small amounts of virus. Such a detection method would provide invaluable information for crop management, certification of virus-free seed potatoes and assessment of infection in one-year-off-tubers.
