Confusion about quality management systems and lack of knowledge and skills limit the ability of the horticulture industry in Australia to adopt these systems. This project was developed to address the problem of poor adoption of quality management systems, particularly by the small to medium growers in the industry. During the project, supermarket demands for quality management systems to ensure safe food supply became a reality.
