The soil insects African black beetle and whitefringed weevil are formidable pests of potatoes, characterised by unpredictability, patchy distribution and a high degree of impact at low densities. Furthermore they are spreading in Australia. This project undertakes an analysis of the soil insect pests of potatoes.
