The Industry Development Officer (IDO) concept was developed by Horticulture Australia some years ago to promote stronger communication links and better dissemination of information within the horticultural industry. Under the direction of the Vegetable Growers Association of Victoria (VGA), a management committee was established to lead the IDO project in Victoria. The IDO project has come to its final fifth year and this report presents a summary of the major outcomes achieved by this project.
This project has been funded by Hort Innovation, using the research and development levies listed below and contributions from the Australian Government. Hort Innovation is the grower-owned, not-for-profit research and development corporation for Australian horticulture.
