Fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda) is an exotic pest that has been recently detected in Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia.

Based on overseas experience, fall armyworm larvae can cause significant and sudden crop damage if left unchecked.

Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries has released fact sheets and a webinar regarding the invasive pest.

The resources focus on the management of fall armyworm, and provide information about detection, crop and pasture impacts and identification tips.
