This project was undertaken to consult with the South Australian fresh-washed potato industry to obtain the industry views on the establishment of an industry development fund. The report sets out details of the activities, research and consultation that was undertaken with potato growers, packers and other industry members in SA, in considering the establishment of an Industry Development Fund under the Primary Industries Funding Schemes Act 1988. The document also sets out recommendations in regard to the establishment of such a fund and the outline of a business plan which will set out strategies and management arrangements for such a fund.
