May/June 2018 edition of Vegetables Australia now online
The latest edition of Vegetables Australia magazine is now available online, giving you a convenient way to catch up the latest industry news and updates about research and development!
This edition of Vegetables Australia has some great stories to keep you in the loop about the latest levy-funded R&D and the ongoing progress of industry projects, including:
- A new project looking at ways to boost the on-farm population of beneficial insects to help growers with their Integrated Pest Management strategies
- A detailed recap of the recent study tour by a group of Australian growers to the United States of America
- A progress update on the project investigating improved management of pumpkin brown etch
- The latest on a trial of using drones to assess plant health as part of the Soil Wealth and ICP projects
As always, we also speak to growers from around the country, with this edition’s grower profile talking to Queensland grower Gary Spotswood, and Victoria’s Stephanie Corrigan (pictured above) interviewed for the young grower profile.
We’ve also refreshed some parts of the magazine, with a new section breaking down key facts and data about individual vegetable commodities to complement the regular Veggie Stats economic feature.
There’s even more news and information available in the magazine, so be sure to take a look at it online in the publications section of our website. If you’d like to receive a hard copy of Vegetables Australia right to your mailbox every time we release a new edition, it’s easy to subscribe online, or you can just e-mail us at communications@ausveg.com.au!
