Strategic Investment Plans

A Strategic Investment Plan (SIP) is the roadmap that helps guide Hort Innovation’s oversight and management of individual levy industry investment programs.

A SIP lays the foundation for decision making in levy investments and represents the balanced interest of all industry members from whom that levy is collected. The function of a SIP is to ensure that levy investment decisions align with industry priorities. A SIP is used to guide the Strategic Investment Advisory Panels (SIAPs) and assist Hort Innovation prioritise and implement the specific industry levy R&D and marketing programs.

The 2017-21 Processing Potato Industry Strategic Investment Plan, covering the next five years of levy investment, has recently been finalised. To view the final document, please visit Hort Innovation's processing potato page.
