Parsnip buying households claim to consume the vegetable 3.6 times on average per month, which is significantly lower than for carrots (11.6 times), parsnip’s close relative. Increases in consumption could be driven by leading more households to taste parsnips through mixed pre-packs with other accompanying vegetables and highlighting its unique flavour profile.
