In 2019, AUSVEG will be supporting exporting vegetable growers to attend and exhibit at major international tradeshows. Export-ready growers are invited to apply to attend the following tradeshows.

Gulfood – Dubai Gulfood is the world’s largest food tradeshow and will involve 5,000 exhibitors showcasing products from across eight primary market sectors.

Anticipated travel dates for successful participants will be 14–21 February 2019.

Foodex – Tokyo Foodex is the key food tradeshow held annually in Japan, drawing over 80,000 buyers from across the North Asia region.

Anticipated travel dates for successful participants will be 3–9 March 2019.

Each trade event program will involve the following opportunities:

  • Building your knowledge of the local supply chain and participating in a market insights tour.
  • Gaining introductions to retailers, importers and wholesalers in the market.
  • Exhibiting and showcasing your products to international fresh produce buyers as part of the Taste Australia tradeshow presence.

AUSVEG has a limited number of funded positions available for levy-paying vegetable growers to participate in the trade event program.
