Protected cropping is one of the fastest growing food producing sectors in Australia.

Hort Innovation is co-funding the development and delivery of Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate in Protected Cropping at Western Sydney University (WSU).

This course is fully accredited and unique to WSU, incorporating science, technology and business skills with a focus on intensive horticulture.

Australian Fresh Leaf Herbs, Costa Group, Perfection Fresh and Flavorite have teamed up with WSU to offer internships for students to gain work experience in relation to these courses.

Students are eligible to apply for one of the 65 scholarships (up to $5,000 each) and internships (up to $17,500 each).

There are still a few weeks left until applications close for the scholarships on offer, with the first intake of successful applicants being in the 2020 Summer semester.
