Help University of Melbourne improve soil moisture monitoring technology
The team at AquaTerra from the University of Melbourne is conducting a study on the adoption of soil moisture monitoring technology in Australian agriculture, and is looking for vegetable growers of all types and sizes willing to be interviewed.
This research will investigate the barriers to use of soil moisture monitoring technology by Australian farmers, the types of soil moisture data which would be preferred and what benefits this data would bring to a farm. This research will provide technology providers and government with information to help them overcome the identified barriers so more farms can use modern soil moisture monitoring technology to schedule their irrigations and more.
