Hort Innovation, the grower-owned, not-for-profit research and development corporation for the Australian horticulture industry, has signed up to grow Australia’s food future as Principal Partner of Hort Connections 2019.

Hort Connections is the biggest event in Australian horticulture, and this year’s conference is expected to bring together over 3,250 delegates to benefit from unparalleled networking opportunities, a trade show showcasing leading local and global businesses, and world-class speakers.

By supporting this huge event as Principal Partner, Hort Innovation is making sure that attendees at Hort Connections will learn about world-leading research and development that can help Australian horticulture tackle future challenges and make the most of its opportunities.

In particular, Hort Innovations will be sponsoring this year’s Plenary Sessions, where leading figures in local and international horticulture discuss the pressing issues facing our sector. It’ll also be supporting speakers throughout the rest of the program who’ll be talking about their levy-funded research and the practical outcomes that their projects are delivering for growers.

Of course, the organisation will also be heavily involved throughout the rest of the convention, including at the Trade Show. Hort Innovation’s booth at Hort Connections 2018 was one of the stars of the show, with a steady stream of delegates stopping by to learn about research and marketing projects and enjoy some of the tastier outcomes of industry investment – from avocado fries to the famous broccoli latte.

For more information about Hort Innovation and the extensive range of ways its investments are creating value for horticulture growers and those across the horticulture supply chain, see its newly redeveloped website.
