There’s less than one month until the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture (TIA) opens its doors for the Forthside Open Day.

The annual open day is a fantastic opportunity for growers and agronomists to see research and development in action, talk to researchers about their projects, and network with other industry members who are interested in agronomy.

Attendees will also have the chance to see TIA agronomy trials in action, including their research into seed management, biosecurity and more!

Time/date: 10.00am-4.00pm (including morning tea and lunch), Wednesday 10 October 2018
Location: Forthside Research Station, 124 Forthside Road, Forth TAS

After the field day finishes, the TIA will be putting on a spit roast dinner from 4.00pm-6.00pm where you can grab a bite to eat and catch up with other attendees.

The field day is being run in collaboration with the levy-funded VegNET project, which is being delivered in Tasmania by RMCG.

To register to attend the event, visit its Eventbrite page. If you’re after more information, get in touch with Leonie White via e-mail at leonie.white@utas.edu.au.
