The home-delivered fruit and vegetable box has been one of the economic winners during COVID-19 isolation.

In particular, the demand for organically grown produce has sky-rocketed.

On Sunday 24 May, ABC’s Landline program aired a segment discussing the ways COVID-19 has benefited some of Australia’s organic vegetables growers.

The segment outlined the advantages of the newly established Fruit and Vegetable Consortium, made up of 11 members including AUSVEG, Nutrition Australia, the Cancer Council of Victoria and other organisations with an interest in increasing vegetable and fruit consumption.
