Share your Free Trade Agreement experience with parliamentary inquiry
The Joint Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade is conducting an inquiry into access to Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
As part of this inquiry, the Committee is looking to hear from small business and family enterprises involved in vegetable and potato growing about the challenges they’ve faced in successfully opening new export opportunities with Australia’s trading partners with whom it has negotiated FTAs.
If your growing operation is an SME and you have relevant experience, make a submission and help the inquiry assess the challenges and opportunities facing Australian export-oriented businesses that are looking to leverage FTAs for their exporting work.
You can access the full terms of reference for the inquiry here. The Committee will consider requests for submissions to be treated as confidential, with the deadline for submissions closing on Friday 25 May 2018.
