Australia’s fastest-growing business energy retailer Flow Power has announced that it has entered into a large-scale renewable corporate Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Olam Orchards Australia Pty Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of leading global agribusiness Olam International Limited (Olam).

As a disruptor in the energy industry, Flow Power’s renewable corporate PPAs offer businesses cost-security of electricity for up to 25 years, with up to 50 per cent savings in power prices. Consumers like Olam will be able to use power in real time to offset their grid electricity consumption.

This deal with Olam, one of the first of its kind in Australia, will allow the agribusiness direct access to secure cost-effective energy with a significant reduction in costs over a period of 10 years.

Flow Power is currently working with developments existing and in construction across South Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and Queensland to ensure that more businesses have access to renewable corporate PPAs. For more information on Flow Power, see its website.
